Bijaya embarked on his career in tourism in 1995, starting as a Ticketing Officer for 2 years before transitioning to the role of Tour Officer for an additional 5 years. His journey continued with a foray into Resort Sales and Marketing, where he spent 2 years mastering the art of promoting exceptional travel experiences.

The pinnacle of Bijaya's career unfolded during his 12-year tenure at Explore Himalaya, a renowned top 10 travel and trekking company. Beginning as the First Operation Officer, he ascended to the role of Operation Manager and eventually, Tour, Trekking & Expedition Manager. His notable contributions include steering projects like the Cadbury Balloon Expedition, Nepal Peace Everest Expedition and the Skydive in Nepal;.

A seasoned Tour Leader, Bijaya led the sacred Kailash Manasarovar Yatra since 1998, offering spiritual guidance and ensuring a transformative pilgrimage for countless travelers.

In 2008, Bijaya joined Kailash Charter & Rescue Company for 8-year tenure, focusing on operational excellence and rescue efforts in Nepal's mountainous and remote regions. His dedication to ensuring safe trekking flights and organizing charter helicopter flights for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra eased the journey for pilgrims.
