The walk can be stressful because of thin air at high altitudes. Gorak Shep will be right away, where we shall leave our bags and have our lunch at tea house there. After lunch, we shall start our trek and hike up to Kala Pattar. There is steep climbing up that we need to go through for around two-third of an hour to reach flat land, where Nepal Government once conducted a meeting about Global Warming back in 2009. The cool breeze, great height, and beautiful mountain range will be around us. We shall trek down through icefall like a roller coaster again. Going down to a glacier indeed is an amazing experience. We shall then move ahead, and walk down to Pheriche overnight. Since the downward journey would be easier and the pace would turn faster, we would easily move ahead. Crossing streams and passing through the beautiful mountain, we shall continue thereby. We shall have our dinner at Pheriche. Overnight at Pheriche.

  • Day 15 Trek to Tengboche

We shall have breakfast and then crossing villages, Buddhist monasteries, bridges, and some waterfall, today we will trek to Tengboche. We can get to join morning prayers at the monastery. After breakfast, we shall leave the place bidding Mt Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku’s view farewell. We shall reach Phunki, where we shall have our lunch. We will see this place as a collection of lodges. We shall reach the point that will turn Phortse off and then descend till Namche Bazar. We shall finally be back below 3500 m this day and start feeling much better. We can already celebrate in Namche Bazar, but with limitations, because we have a long journey to Lukla the next day. We can visit Everest Viewpoint this day again to give the ultimate look to Everest. Dinner will be served at Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche.

  • Day 17 Back to Lukla

After having our breakfast, we start our trek back to Lukla. It will be a pretty familiar route because this was the way that we came back through. We come across the same Hillary bridge, cross the river and set our destination till we make it to Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi river. There will be forests of pine, juniper, and fir which will be bidding farewell there. Having our lunch at the main gate of Sagarmatha National Park, we continue our trek with the trail along Dudh Koshi River and finally make it to Lukla – our ultimate destination of the day.

  • Day 18 Contingency Day

This will be an extra day that we separate for anything that could be out of plan. Be it because of weather trouble, or some other causes; we may have to miss some places. To avoid this, we allocate this extra day. If everything goes as per the schedule, we can plan this day to go to Kathmandu and explore Kathmandu. But, if anywhere we go at the mess, we can make use of this day to recover our loss.

  • Day 19 Fly to Kathmandu

We shall fly to Kathmandu this day as per our schedule. If the flight is early, we shall have our breakfast at Kathmandu, or we can keep that at Lukla itself.
