Day 01
INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL
Upon arrival you will be welcome by Sunrise Kailash representative standing with your name board at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport at arrival terminal. Then you will be transferred to your estimated hotel by the private vehicle. At the evening, there will be a small briefing about your further tour.

Day 02
FLY TO POKHARA
In the morning, after breakfast, first we will check out from the hotel rooms. Then drive to airport to catch a flight to Pokhara. It takes 25 minutes flight to reach Pokhara. On arrival at Pokhara airport, you will be escorted to hotels by one of our “Sunrise Kailash” representative. After taking a short rest and refreshment, you will have a half day sightseeing tour around Pokhara Valley which will start from Tall Barahi Temple, Devi’s fall followed by Gupteswor Cave, and further to Bindhyabasini Temple. After that, you will have a free hour to explore around lakeside by yourself.
TAL BARAHI TEMPLE, also known as Lake Temple or Barahi Temple is a two-story pagoda temple. It is a Hindu temple of the Goddess Durga (Barahi), the protector of gods. It is located in a small island on the south east section of Phewa Lake in Pokhara. It can be reached by taking a boat from the Shore of Phewa Lake.
DEVI’S FALL is a waterfall where the water forms a tunnel after reaching the bottom. This tunnel is approximately 500 feet (150 m) long and runs 100 feet (30 m) below ground level. On 31 July 1961, a Swiss couple went swimming but the woman drowned in a pit because of the overflow. Her body was recovered three days later in river Phusre with great effort. Her father wished to name it “David’s falls” after her daughter’s name but changed to Devi’s Fall. Its Nepali name is Patale Chango, which literal meaning is Paatal Ko Chango means “Underworld’s Waterfall“.
GUPTESHWOR MAHADEV CAVE, known in the local tongue as Bhalu Dulo is recognized as one of the longest caves in Nepal with a length that exceeds 2,000 meters. The cave sits across Davi’s fall, and inside the cave, one can hear the thundering sound of water.
BINDHYABASINI TEMPLE is the oldest temple in the city of Pokhara. The temple is devoted to goddess Bindhyabasini, a Bhagawati who is the incarnation of Kali. There are smaller temples of goddess Saraswati, Shiva, Hanuman, Ganesha in the premises. The temple is situated atop a small hill and can be accessed via stone staircases on the East and North East. The views of the Himalayas from the North of the temple are breathtaking while from the South one can see the expanse of Pokhara city.

Day 03
FLY TO JOMSOM / DRIVE JOMSOM – MUKTINATH – JOMSOM
Today, after early morning breakfast, we will drive to airport to take a flight for Jomsom, Gateway of Muktinath. It is about 25 minute’s flight from Pokhara. Once we landed at Jomsom airport our Sunrise Kailash representative will come to meet you and take you to the Jeep stand for your drive towards Muktinath Temple. It will take an hour drive from Jomsom to Muktinath. From the Muktinath jeep station, we will start 20 – 30 minutes easy walk towards Muktinath Temple. Once you reach at the temple, you will get an hour time to make Darshan / Puja and take a bath on 108 water spouts. After finishing Muktinath Darshan, we will walk down to the jeep station and drive back to Jomsom.
TODAY HIGHLITS:
JOMSOM, Gateway to Muktinath situated at an altitude of about 2,700 meters. The soaring peaks of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri form a backdrop to the town straddling the Kali Gandaki River, which flows right through the Centre of Jomsom.
KAGBENI, is a village located in the valley of the Kali Gandaki River. It lies on the trail from Jomsom to the royal capital Lo Manthang, near the junction with the trail to Muktinath. Before heading to Muktinath, Hindu pilgrims offer Pinda and perform Shraddha (death ritual) to their deceased ancestors at this confluence believing that it brings salvation to the departed soul. According to the Hindu epic Adhyatma Ramayana, Kagbhusundi meditated here on suggestion of Saptarishis, hence place was named Kagbeni.
MUKTINATH is a Shiva temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists. It is one of the world’s highest temples situated at altitude of 3800 meter. Within Hinduism, it is known as Mukti Kshetra, which literally means the ‘place of liberation‘ (moksh) and is one of the Char Dham in Nepal.
Buddhists call it Chumig Gyatsa, which in Tibetan means “Hundred Waters“. For Tibetan Buddhists, Muktinath is an important place of dakinis, goddesses known as Sky Dancers, and one of the 24 Tantric places. They understand the murti to be a manifestation of Avalokiteśvara, who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas.

Day 04
FLY BACK TO JOMSOM – POKHARA – KATHMANDU / KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, we will walk down to airport and take a flight to Pokhara. Here in Pokhara, we change our flight to fly to Kathmandu. There is no any schedule flight from Jomsom to Kathmandu directly. On arrival at Kathmandu domestic airport, one of our Sunrise Kailash representative will meet you and escort you to the hotel. At hotel after taking a short rest and refreshment, you will have half day sightseeing tour around Kathamandu. Your tour starts with “World Heritage Sites” including the, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath and the largest Stupa in the world Bouddhanath Stupa.
SHREE PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE is a famous and sacred Hindu temple, is located on the banks of the Bagmati River, approximately 5 km north-east of Kathmandu. This temple complex was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites’s list in 1979. This “extensive Hindu temple precinct” is a “sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries along the banks of the sacred Bagmati River” and is included as one of the seven monument groups in UNESCO‘s designation of Kathmandu Valley.
BOUDHANATH STUPA has been an important place of pilgrimage and meditation for Tibetan Buddhists & local Nepalese. It is located on what was a major trade route between Nepal & Tibet. For centuries, many traveling merchants used it as a resting place. In 1979, Boudha became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest stupa in Nepal which was probably built during the 14th century after the Mughal invasions.

Day 05
INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
After morning breakfast at hotel, you will have some free time for your own activities. Then, for your departure, Sunrise Kailash representative will come to pick you up and drive you to international airport Departure terminal for your onwards flight from Kathmandu.
