Mount Kailash & Mansarovar yatra by helicopter

Mount Kailash & Mansarovar yatra by helicopter

11 Days

Kailash is a sacred peak located in the Kailash Range, which forms part of the Trans Himalaya in Tibet. It is a significant religious site for several major religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Mount Kailash is revered as the abode of Lord Shiva in Hinduism and is considered a place of spiritual importance and pilgrimage. The mountain stands at 6,638 meters (21,778 feet) above sea level and is known for its distinctive pyramidal shape. Pilgrims from various parts of the world undertake the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra to circumambulate Mount Kailash, a ritual known as Parikrama or Kora, as an act of devotion and purification.

Helicopter tours make the pilgrimage more accessible to people who may have physical limitations or time constraints. The challenging terrain and high altitudes of the region can be physically demanding, and helicopters provide a quicker and more comfortable alternative.
