5 days
Muktinath Tour By Helicopter is a 5-day tour from Pokhara to Muktinath and back to Pokhara. Tal Barahi Temple, Devi’s Fall, Gupteswor Cave, and Bindhyabasini Temple are some of the sights to see in Pokhara. You’ll also visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, which are both listed as “World Heritage Sites“, and are two of the country’s most revered sites in Kathmandu
Muktinath Temple is located at 3710 meters above sea level, in the shadow of the Thorong La – mountain pass, a well-known trekking path in the Annapurna region. This temple is the 105th of the 108 Divya Desams that may be visited. In Hinduism, it is known as Mukti Kshetra, which means “place of liberation or moksha“. Furthermore, it is one of 51 Shakti peethams. The Buddhist name for it is Chumig Gyatsa, which means Hundred Waters in Tibetan.
Pokhara is 200 kilometers (120 miles) west of Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital. The city is located on the shores of Phewa Lake, at an elevation of 822 meters. The Annapurna Range, which includes three of the world’s ten highest peaks—Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Manaslu—is only 15–35 miles (24–56 kilometers) from the valley.
